Description
Our moisturizing cream is all-natural without petroleum-based oils, alcohols, or preservatives. There is no water in this cream therefore it is highly concentrated. We encourage our clients to use this cream on wet skin to smooth and emulsify the cream directly on the skin. This is a ‘hard-working’ cream excellent for very dry skin or protection and moisturizing in dry and/or ultra cold conditions. Can be used on any part of the body.
We offer a choice of two sizes. The small size net weight fill is 1.25 oz or the large 2.8 oz in a clear jar. This is the same wonderful moisturizing cream we have had previously in our new jar.
When used on the face, wash the face first leaving it wet. Then add the cream to washed wet palms, rubbing them together with a small water to emulsify the cream, then pat and smooth the wetted cream on the face. Add more water or cream as needed to ensure the correct consistency for your skin type. For very dry, sensitive skin we recommend allowing the cream to “air dry” on the face rather than rubbing the face excessively nor blotting with a tissue.
This cream comes with a small applicator stick to keep the cream hygienic. Just wipe off any residue on the stick with a tissue–washing the stick is not necessary.
We recommend keeping the cream in a room that is in a temperature range between 65-72 F or 18-22 C (typical room temperature). When there is a wider temperature change, the cream can begin to precipitate because it has neither chemical stabilizers nor chemical emulsifiers. This doesn’t indicate the cream is going bad, but it will become slightly ‘granular’. If this granular consistency occurs, all that is required is rubbing the cream between the palms first to dissolve the grains before applications. The warmth of rubbing the cream between the palms is usually enough to emulsify the grains. These grains are derived from an ingredient in the natural beeswax called ‘propolis’ which is distributed throughout the cream- an important ingredient for positive effects on the skin.
